How To Make Steering Wheel Control Work With Our Head Unit?

There are 4 wires for steering wheel control. They are CANIN, CANOUT, KEY and IR.


1)Universal Head Unit(ISO wiring harness & no canbus)/Special Head Unit without Canbus:

①Please connect KEY wire with CANOUT wire like below picture.


②If your car has 3 steering wheel control wires: KEY1, KEY2 and GND, please connect them with our related wires. Below is our KEY wires. If your car does not has 3 wires, just connect the wires you have with our wires.



③After above steps, please set the functions of your steering wheel control by this app.



Do you know how to learn steering wheel control with our head unit? Your left  hand needs to long press one of you swc buttons and right hand click the function you want in our CONTROL APP at the same time. Do not move your hand away untill you see the words in APP in yellow color.

 2)Volkswagon/Toyota/Honda Head Unit with Canbus:

①Please connect CANIN with CANOUT.


②Please select right canbus option. Please contact us if you don't know which canbus option you need to choose.



3)Ford Focus/Jeep/BMW E39/E46 Head Unit with Canbus:

①Please connect IR with CANOUT.

②No need to learn steering wheel control in CONTROL app.


Old Version

The motherboard of universal head units:

The resistance of steering wheel control is on KEY1 and KEY2.


The motherboard of special head units for VW:

The resistance of steering wheel control is on RX and TX.


If you would like to use universal remote control for your car,

②If your car has 3 steering wheel control wires: KEY1, KEY2 and GND, please connect them with our related wires. Below is our KEY wires. If your car does not has 3 wires, just connect the wires you have with our wires.



③After above steps, please set the functions of your steering wheel control by this app.

How to Do Factory Reset on A SC9853i/PX5 android 8.0 Head Unit?

It's very important to know factory reset. No matter what problem your head unit has, factory reset is a useful method you can try. Note: Pls copy important files to a U disk and remember canbus option(if your head unit has). After factory reset, you need to choose canbus option for your head unit again. Otherwise, some functions will be affected and can't be used. For SC9853i Head Units: 1)pls go to SETTINGS and find USER. You will see BACKUP AND RESET. 2)Click BACKUP AND RESET. Generally speaking, BACKUP AND RESET has no password. If it needs a password, pls try 3368. There are 2 kinds of reset and you can try the one you need. For PX5 Android 8.0 head unit 1)Pls go to SETTINGS and find SYSTEM.  2)Click SYSTEM. You will see many settings. Pls find RESET. 3)Click RESET and you will see two reset option.
