Here is the firmware for resolution 1024*600 models with DVD-- JY-VO130P4

 Good day! This update is for JOYING 2GB/4GB RAM 32GB ROM Octa Core CPU Android 8.0 Car Stereo only.

Pls contact us to confirm if this update can work on your head unit. Otherwise, your head unit will be damaged after this update.

Pls follow below steps carefully to update your head unit. Pls note that missing or incorrect steps will leads failed update.

Before Update, pls copy important files to a U disk:
1)Copy maps from the internal memory of the head unit to the U disk.
2)If your car has canbus option, pls go to SETTING--FACTORY--CAR MODEL and remember the canbus option.

Here we go! 
1. Use a new U disk. The quality of the U disk is FAT32GB(or less than 32GB) Class 10. The U disk must be formatted on the computer before usage.
2.Download update file from computer. Pls do not download it from phones. Otherwise, some files will be missed.

3.After download, you will receive such update file:


4.Unzip the update file and you will see this folder:


5.Open the folder and you will see these files:

Copy them to the U disk. Pls do not unzip any of them.

6.Insert the U disk to the OTG USB port of your head unit. If your head unit does not has OTG USB port, pls try both USB ports of your head unit.
After inserting the U disk, the head unit will display such info "detected update and it will begin after 5 seconds". The update will begins automatically and shows update process. Pls do not turn off the head unit or touch its screen until you see such info"update completed or success"


7.Remove the U disk. The head unit will reboot automatically.

After update, you need to do:
1) Touch calibration
2) Choose canbus option for your head unit
3) Set functions for the touch buttons on left side.

4)pls follow below steps to avoid deleting your google contacts.
1-Go to Joying settings 
2-Go to user/account 
3-Click on your account name (email) and then click on "Account sync" just below account name, this will open a new menu. 
4-There you can disable contacts sync option
5-After connected the "Bluetooth", please go "Contacts" of "Bluetooth" App to download the phone contacts.

How to Do Factory Reset on A SC9853i/PX5 android 8.0 Head Unit?

It's very important to know factory reset. No matter what problem your head unit has, factory reset is a useful method you can try. Note: Pls copy important files to a U disk and remember canbus option(if your head unit has). After factory reset, you need to choose canbus option for your head unit again. Otherwise, some functions will be affected and can't be used. For SC9853i Head Units: 1)pls go to SETTINGS and find USER. You will see BACKUP AND RESET. 2)Click BACKUP AND RESET.
